In this video, Zar describes growing up in an Italian-speaking family in Mexico, where she learned both English and Spanish in school, as well as working as a freelance interpreter and learning the court procedures. The DVD features three outstanding interpreters, Sharon Neumann Solow, Theresa Smith and Anna Witter-Merithew, known for their interpretation work in legal settings and for conducting training related to interpreting in legal settings. Each of these interpreters produced an in-studio rendition of the Miranda Warnings.
